Auckland Libraries is hosting a range of activities next week (Sunday 27th May – Saturday 2nd June) in celebration of le Vaiaso o le Gagana Sāmoa – Samoan Language Week. Samoan is the second most spoken language in Auckland after English.
Auckland based Samoan author Lani Wendt-Young will be giving talks at Glen Innes, Northcote, Massey and Tupu Youth libraries. Also planned are various storytimes, and activity sessions. To find out what’s happening at your local library, click here.
