My Vietnamese teacher has been such a supportive, resourceful and engaging teacher over the last few years. She caters her lessons to whatever topic I am interested in and whatever approach I am needing. This includes informal conversation, reading and writing, focusing on vocabulary and expressions. I have also learned so much about Vietnamese culture and life from our conversations. I have sometimes requested using a particular text or video as a tool, other times she has offered some of her own.
