I am really enjoying my lessons with Rodrigue. I feel I am learning a lot and making good progress. At first, we mainly focused on grammar points and my understanding of these, as well as general vocabulary and practicing everyday conversation. We have also listened to podcasts, and are now focusing on podcast listening in our lessons. I particularly enjoy this as it helps me practice listening, grammar, and vocabulary all at once, and also reading as I can refer to the text too. It feels like I am learning genuine French rather than just following a textbook, as I am learning common phrases and idioms. Rodrigue has provided good learning materials, and pushes me to be better and study without it being overbearing. He offers good encouragement, and overall is a down-to-earth teacher. I feel we have a good rapport.
